exploded my back tube on a flair to flat. ummm... another one i was sitting down and my khe street tyre's beading gave up and committed suicide. it was a falty tyre to so that was replaced for free Smile cheerin. but it was another tube gone. i absolutely rooted my old cranks. twisted and bent both the crank arms and spindle. that was from 2 years of hard riding done on them so they survived really well. they now rest in pieces. in general though, i havnt broken anything seriously for how heavy i ride. buy nothing but the best and you neednt worry things dying.

i've had that happen to my second KHE tire. the first one exploded on the way out of cairns hemisphere and that was scary. i destroy chainstays most of the time and i'm a bit of a fork bender too. khe driver bearings also explode on me but i think everyone has trouble with those. i also buckle wheels alot but i look after them and run hub guards so i don't have too much trouble beyond that. in all, i'm a destroyer with wheels or forks, but i look after my gear way more than anyone else so that it doesn't fail on me.

I destroyed two KHEs in a combined time of 5 minutes riding, worst tyres ever. I pretty much destroy bikes in general

I recon those khe tires go ok hey. just keep them over 80psi and your sweet. its the pressure pushing out from the inside that gives them their strangth. try get the street tyres tho, the park ones suck balls. i ran mine on 130psi and it kicked booty till the beading gave way. WARRENTY!!! XD

BUT for the best tires, i'd say go the maxxis grifters. cheaper, lighter and stronger than the khe's. one khe costs $80 but at For The Riders, you can get a maxxis for $40 i think? or about that. I know i got the 1.85 rear for like $30 cause it was the last one or something. i duno i got lucky but who knows. go have a look in there anyway their the cheapest around

i agree. those maxxis grifters just don't quit. and they're pretty grippy too. cheap, light, strong, grippy, probably comes with some free asian food too if your lucky.

when i first started riding hard i bent a hoffman d130. then seven months later at townsville i ripped a seat stay off with a big chunk of seat tube attached on a next gen holmes. flogged fuck outta a sta 500 for the next six or so years and its still almost perfect.  i wanted to be the butcher but just ended up being A butcher
